Northern Region Gender Dysphoria Service

This is a service for people who experience persistent confusion and/or distress, due to a discrepancy between their gender identity and assigned sex. This includes people who want to change physical aspects of their gender as well as those who do not. The service offers assessment, care and treatment of gender dysphoria, including recommendations for psychologically informed physical interventions, as well as supportive interventions in the form of psychotherapy and voice and communication therapy.
